Relative Optical Density Image Analysis : ウィキペディア英語版 | Relative Optical Density Image Analysis RODIA is a methodology (and a software solution) for Relative Optical Density Image Analysis used in medical imaging, diagnostics, orthopedic and other medical disciplines. RODIA provides two major functionality areas i.e. image quantitative evaluation and fracture healing monitoring. RODIA methodology allows to perform a quantitative evaluation of the medical images (e.g. X-ray, ultrasonography), enhancing bone fracture detection, fracture healing monitoring and early detection of nonunion or delayed union and other issues. RODIA concept does not require prior calibration of images. RoI is being compared with other parts of the evaluated bone what allows for a relative analysis of the fracture (healing over time). RODIA methodology enables quantitative evaluation required for Evidence-based medicine and statistical evaluation of collected data for specialties largely utilizing images. ==Application in Telemedicine== RODIA is also used in telemedicine as a remote (clinical) decision support system for physicians, when necessary expertise is not available locally. Search for subtle fracture line, assessment of the bone osteolysis around orthopedic implants, and progress of bone tumour retrospective avaluation allow remote analyzing and measure digitized X-ray image to reliably enhance an evaluation of images.
